The children as innocent and lovely as the morning dew and fresh flowers on the Steppe. I took this picture in 1974. The four children in the picture from left are: Saibatar (Good Hero), Cholmon (Twilight), Buhbatar (Strong Hero) and Narenqiqige (Sun Flower). Their ages ranged from 5 to 14. I visited this family many times and drew a lot of pictures there. I owe a great deal to this family for choosing a career as a painter and the inspiration for my painting. Today all of these four are married and have their own children. We are still good friends, keep in touch and take care of each other. |
